As most of you know, I was recently and surprisingly diagosed with throat cancer. I have already been through two surgeries and mutliple tests, scans etc. I am scheduled for 35 radiation treatments (everyday) and 7 chemo therapy treatments (every 3 weeks-concluding in March 2017)
Our family does have adequate health insurance coverage and we are very thankful for that. However; as some of the invoices start coming in, we are resposible for all co-pays (each doctor is a specialist), co-insurance (in and out of network) and most of all the out of pocket maximum and annual deductibles. This will then reset on January 1, 2017
Any donations would be greatly appreciated and will go directly towards medical debts. This week I meet with the radiologist on Wednesday, a surgery to have a feeding tube put in on Thursday, and then meet with the oncologist on Friday in preparation for my first chemo and radiation treatment to be administered on October 31st.
