Brian Gardner President of the Non-Profit "Risen" and a 13 year employee of the New Brunswick Public Library has recently undergone surgery resulting in a partial foot amputation as a complication of Type I Diabetes. Brian who also has unilateral deafness and multiple sclerosis is dealing with the rising costs of medical expenses and we are reaching out on his behalf to help bring him the proper care needed for his complete recovery.
The first and primary need is to help Brian find handicap accessible housing which we are asking anyone who knows agencies or resources that can help to please reach out to Brian directly. The medical costs that Brian is seeking assistance for includes a wheelchair, medication/treatment, a handicap accessible bed etc. This has been a process and every day we find more expenses incurring, so we ask for your help in bringing Brian Gardner at minimum, the basics of what he needs to help facilitate his recovery.
Brian has a very vibrant and upbeat spirit and is always willing to help others. He has given back to his community on countless occasions individually and through the non-profit "Risen" that he started years ago with local friends and community leaders. He has stood up for social injustice, organized food/clothe drives, orchestrated dinners for the homeless, coordinated conferences for the youth and the list goes on. Knowing Brian's contribution to his community we are asking that the same community rally behind him and help to bring the necessary resources he needs for a successful recovery.
Any little bit helps whether financial, referrals or a prayer for complete healing. Please feel free to reach out, share this campaign and support our efforts to get Brian Gardner the help he needs.
