My daughter is 15 yrs old, and she has Juvenile Rheumitoid Arthritis. She has been suffering with pain, and rashes since she was a baby. The doctors would attribute her symtoms to allergic reactions and growing pains.  As she got older, I noticed more symtoms that made no sense. She was tired all the time, and in severe pain in all her joints. I would take her to different doctors, and even orthopedic specialist. They did xrays,  MRI's, Ct scans and they would not find anything.  Finally, I asked her pcp to do a ana pannel, so they finally did. Three different labs taken within 1 year, all came back positive. The next step was to get her to be seen by a Rheumatologist. I jumped on it, and no luck.  Either they weren't accepting new patients, or they would not accept her insurance. I myself suffer from Fibromyalgia, and I have a rare desease called Klippel Feil Syndrome, congenital malformation of my cervical spine. I also have arthritis and other medical issues. I am a single parent, and because of my health condition I am not able to work. I used to work two jobs, and attend college until my doctors declared that I was unable to work due to my condition. Since there are no Pediatric Rheumatologist willing to see her here, we will have to travel to San Antonio.
I unfortunately, do not have the funds to travel and cover some medical cost that will come up with these visits. If any of you would be able to donate, it would be a true blessing and very much appreciated. I just want to see my daughter healthy.
