Briana’s Immediate Relocation Fund

Hi my name is Tessa Iturrino (they/them) and I’m the sibling of Briana Iturrino (she/her). We’re creating this gofundme to fund Briana’s immediate relocation from Houston Texas to New England where most her friends and family are located.

On Tuesday April 18th Briana was walking with her date when a drunk driver fatally struck her date who was standing just next to her. This tragic loss and near brush with death has deeply traumatized her. She is seeking financial support to come back home to be with her loved ones.

Sadly, this is not the only loss my sister has endured since moving to Houston. Shortly after her move in 2016, her biological father, Kirk Bottomley, whom she moved out there to have a relationship with, passed away from cancer. With little to no support in a new state Briana did the absolute best she could to make Houston a home. But the blows continued. She was displaced TWICE, once due to an apartment complex fire of a neighboring building and secondly due to hurricane Harvey. Resilient, she continued on, truly hoping that Houston could be good for her. The next tragedy was yet to come, the sudden and unexpected loss of two of her emotional support animals. Two bunnies, Marilyn Jane Bunroe and Sugarbun the sweet boy within weeks of each other.

Briana is one of the kindest, loyalist, and vibrant humans I know and she would quite literally give you that shirt off her back (she might even have a spare one in her bag just for this occasion). She is so full of love and enthusiasm it is infectious.

Please help me bring my sister home. She’s endured so much so far from all of us and we just want her to come home. But we can’t do that without your help.

We are creating this gofundme to fund Briana’s moving expenses from Houston, Texas back to New England. These funds will pay for moving vehicles, gas, security deposit on a new apartment, potential early lease breaking fees at her current apartment and trauma therapy.
