Brian & Jordan Run to Fight Cancer!

We're running the New York Marathon to raise money for the Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) Cancer Foundation and we'd love your help.
Brian's Story - In July 2013, the summer after I graduated from Duke, my dad was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer. Having never been a smoker, and always in better shape than my brother and I, he and the rest of our family were floored by the news, especially coming off my grandma’s long battle with the disease. He started treatment immediately at Sloan-Kettering, undergoing surgery and regular chemotherapy sessions. Despite being exhausted, achy, and generally feeling crappy, he always kept a positive attitude through even the worst days.
Fast forward almost three years, and he’s currently off chemo and only going in for scans and checkups. He’s feeling a bajillion times better (all numbers approximate), and working and playing plenty of golf again (Champions Tour here we come!).
We are so thankful for the work done at MSK; not only the doctors, nurses, and other staff that have treated him with care and fielded the novel-full of questions my mom has asked, but also the research that has led to the development of current and future treatments. We believe in their mission of conquering cancer.
Jordan's Story - Beyond supporting Brian, I have been passionately devoted to supporting research to provide cures for devastating diseases - originally through my studies and now through my career. Like many of us, I too have lost family members to cancer. I have personally seen what a dollar means to MSK and feel fortunate to be connected to their patients and the work that they do everyday.
We are excited for the challenge and can't wait to bring all of you along with us. Just as any run brings us closer to our 26.2 mile goal (including those last-minute sprints to catch a train), any donation amount goes a long way towards MSK's goal of finding new and innovative treatments for all types of cancer and patients.
