Hi, my name is Brian, I’m an avid cyclist and earlier this month I had an accident involving me on my bike and suv. The suv won. I’m so grateful I’m going to make a full recovery, but needless to say the accident itself was like something I had never experienced before, when the the car hit me, I suffered multiple injuries including 4 fractured ribs, a broken collarbone, and a collapsed lung. With the fast response time from Jackson’s Ryder trama unit, I was airlifted to the facility where my injuries were quickly assessed. The road to full recovery is a long one, but with the love and support of all my family, and my cycling family, Im staying in high spirits. Unfortunately, my current occupation requires me to be at my full physical capacity, as I work for FEDEX as a delivery driver. I won’t be able to return back to work for a minimum of two months. I do not receive any unpaid time off or any kind of benefits that would allow me to continue to pay my monthly expenses such as rent, utilities, insurance. Even the smallest donation would be appreciated as I take this time to recover, to cover my housing costs and help with my medical bills.
