Brian's Team

Hi, my name is Brian Warner.  On July 28th I suffered a stroke that kept me in the hospital for a month and a half and took me away from my job as a homeless outreach worker.  After I was discharged from the hospital I went to a rehab to learn how to walk and talk again.  From there I was discharged to a nursing home facility, and then was shortly discharged to my apartment.  I believe I was discharged way too early from all of these places.  My apartment is not a safe space for me because I live on the third floor and there are too many steps for me to be able to go in and out.  I cannot leave my apartment on my own, go outside, or do the things I used to be able to do.  For this reason, I am asking for money so that I can move to an ADA accessible apartment, one that is hopefully near my friends and co-workers who have been supporting me during this time.  I appreciate any help that anyone can offer.
