Brian's Colorectal Cancer Financial Assistance

As most of you already know, I was diagnosed with stage IV rectal cancer with mets to the liver, on November 13, 2017. Since then, I have been through numerous treatment plans, which is only containing the cancer, not shrinking it. The side effects / symptoms have been very difficult. The main side effect / symptom has been severe fatigue, until this year, which has brought on pain in my pelvis area. I’ve been pushing myself in everything that I do, and even worked up to this February. As of now, I had to resign from my job of almost 15 years, as it is too difficult for me to work. This was a very difficult decision for me to make. I’ve worked hard all my life and I decided it’s time for me to focus on recovery. This has placed a heavy financial burden on me, with insurance, co-pays, deductibles, and other expenses involved with this cancer. I have started the process to apply for disability, but this is a lengthy process and won’t replace my income.

This is hard for me to do, as I’m not one to ask for help. I really need some help here and anything that you could contribute would be greatly appreciated. I understand that money is tight for everyone, and if you’re not able to contribute, I would just ask that you would share this with your friends and family. Please help me in this transition as it has been such a hard time since diagnoses.
