Brian, 24, is the youngest of the Womack family! A fun, kind, hardworking young man and a true team player! He has played baseball from little league through college, which has been a huge part of making him who he is today! He is a determined player in life. Giving all he has whether he is on the mound, at work or keeping up with friends and family. Always a great attitude, (unless his SF Giants had lost) and always a picture of health.
He recently has had some very hard news to hear, for anyone at any age.....CANCER. Brian has been diagnosed with testicular cancer which has spread into his lymph nodes and is at stage 2c. The oncologist is concerned that he may have a tough kind that may not respond to chemo. We are praying that it isn’t. He will begin chemo treatment on March 11th. He is to have three rounds of five days on - 21 days off.
Brian is currently in St. Louis, Missouri studying Occupational Therapy where he eventually wants to work with the geriatric community! He will be completing his first year at grad school during the chemo and has a wedding in July, where he and his sweet fiancé will take their vows to love one another through sickness and in health. His fiancé, Haylee, has been by his side through all this, loving him well! She is also busy at finishing her school ready to graduate in May. They have so many exciting things going on this year and now are facing the toughest battle any of us has had to deal with.
Brian is far away from his family here in California and we will be flying there often to help him through the toughest days.We know Brian can battle well, we are rallying around him and asking you to join us to help him with his medical bills and other costs that he will encounter in the next few months! He has a tough road ahead! He has a minimal insurance there in St Louis, with a steep co-pay. We are asking if you will help him get through this so he won’t be starting out life with debt caused by CANCER. The bills are coming in even before the treatments begin, join us in helping to get the bills paid so that it will not be a part of this stressful time.
We are so thankful for the friends that have been encouraging Brian and the rest of the family. We want you all to know how grateful we are for the love and care you have shown us and know many of you have asked how you can help, prayers and donations would help so much right now! Let's all be a part of helping Brian become cancer free!!
