Today, on Nov.5th, his 37th birthday, The family of Brian Winningham is reaching out to you to ask our Facebook friends and acquaintances to help us support him in his final transition from life.
Brian is a beloved son, father, nephew, cousin and friend to so many. He is a single father who leaves behind a 4 year old son; who will be cared for by his grandmother.
Brian got cancer three years ago at age 35, and was in his second round of remission. He’s been through so much and took the challenge on with such a fighting warrior spirit.
As a result of the challenges from cancer, he had a procedure done to treat osteomyelitis in his back, which resulted in a MRSA infection. This infection traveled from his spine to his brain, leading to swelling on the brain, lack of oxygen to the brain, and seizures.
The seizures have left him without the ability to sustain life and our family has gathered around him to love and support him as comfortablyas possible.
The donations raised for Brian will go toward his final funeral arrangements and be used to help contribute to the support of his son, Johnny.
If you’d rather, a donation can be made on his behalf at Hall Funeral Home in Livingston, TN.
It is with so much heartfelt gratitude that all ofus in his family, thank you for your kind, supportive, and compassionate donation. It matters to us to know that we are not alone during such an emotionally challenging time like this.
