It is with deep sadness that our family shares the unexpected passing of Brian VanderLinden. Brian touched so many lives. He was a loving father, an educator, a former firefighter, and a strong advocate for mental health awareness. He dedicated his life to serving others—whether in the classroom, in the line of duty, or by speaking openly to help break the stigma around mental health.

Our hearts are broken by this sudden loss. In the midst of our grief, the financial responsibility of Brian’s funeral has fallen to our mother. We want to give Brian the farewell he deserves, but the costs are overwhelming.
