Brian Stroble

Hi, my name is Danelle Stroble and I am fundraising for my brother in law, Brian Stroble. Brian, who is the life of the party and a very loved and important member of our family was involved in a tragic boating/diving accident on Saturday, Aug 13th. He suffered a severe compressed spinal cord injury along with many fractured vertebrae in his neck and back, a cracked tooth and some cuts and scrapes. He had emergency surgery to decompress the spinal cord and to stabilize the C3 and C4 vertebrae but his long term prognosis is still unknown. He can move his feet and his left hand just a little bit. Brian had just started a new job a couple of weeks prior to his accident and his new insurance hadn't kicked in yet. He does have a very basic policy in place but it is no where near enough to cover all of his upcoming bills. He is going to need major rehabilitation and will have a very long road to recovery ahead of him. At this point it is difficult to know how much use of his limbs he will actually regain when this is all said and done but he for sure will not be able to work for a very long time. Since he now has no income and hardly any insurance, we are setting up this GoFundMe so he will have help with his medical bills as well as his regular bills that he is no longer able to pay for.
