Our dear friend and co-worker, Brian Stevens, suffered a massive stroke on December 3, 2018.
Brian always had a story, joke, answer, sports stat, a smile, and a listening heart and desire to help anyone in need.  Brian is a dear friend, co-worker, husband, father and grandfather.
Brian remained in a comatose state, for a almost six weeks while neurologists, radiologists, doctors and many others worked to free him of the sudden darkness that trapped him.  Once lifted from the coma his complete right side remained paralyzed, the left side with small movement, and unable to speak or even feed himself.
We are praising God he is now awake, alert and fighting very hard to regain movement and his wonderful sense of humor.
However, the battle has now become not just a fight for Brian to live, but more of a fight to keep him in rehabilitation, where he will receive the best care, for the best outcome.  The rehabilitation center estimates costs to be $10,000 per month, for a minimum of six months.  This treatment and the already huge monetary burden leads us to ask your help.
Please help us give Brian a chance to return to us with his warm heart and smile.  The world needs more smiles like Brian Steven's in their life!
