UPDATE!!!!!!

I want to share an important update about my friends father Brian Senior. His health is declining rapidly, and we expect that he will be with us for just a few more days. In light of this, we've made the difficult decision to redirect donations from this GoFundMe page towards his upcoming funeral services. As some of you may already know Brian Sr is in ICU at Osceola regional Hospital. On September 17 at about 10:30 am, Sr suffered a massive drop in his glucose levels. When his glucose levels dropped he had a very brutal fall. Brian Jr found him face down in a puddle of blood from his face first fall. EMS arrived and began treating him. They immediately rush him to the Hospital. When arriving at the hospital Brian Sr’s respiratory started to fail and he began to go into cardiac arrest so he had to be intubated to save his life. He was extubated a few days later but come to find out Brian Sr has pneumonia, it was so bad he had a mucous plug in his lung that they continuously had to go in and clean out from his lungs. His lungs are now in the process of healing and getting better. Due to his fall and days in a hospital bed his muscles are weakening. His poor health at the moment has delayed his prior plans for back surgery. Sr will need physical therapy and many other therapies.

Sr will need changes made to his home to make it more elderly accessible and comfortable since the rest of his life has changed forever. Brian Sr is a strong minded man and definitely has much more time here on this planet with us. With that being said he will have a lot of recovery and changes to go through. The goal is to provide him with the health care he needs and a comfortable place for his rehabilitation while allowing him to remain some what independent through the process.

Those of you that know him know what kind of man he is but for those of you who don’t know Brian Sr he is a dedicated father to his only son Brian Jr who he raised mostly on his own. He has been a very active and involved grandfather to his (2) grandchildren. He once enjoyed taking them on gulf cart rides, watching them play outside and teaching them how to plant plants. He was a loyal employee of 20 years until he was let go with no notice at 57 years old.

Right now we ask for prayers. Brian Sr will have tons of medical bills and a change of living for a while. Unfortunately he will have to learn how to do everything all over again. We are setting up this go fund me for him.
