Brian Sowter

Hi, my name is Jane and i am fundraising for a memorial bench, in memory of Brian Sowter, who sadly passed away on Saturday.

Brian and his wife Pam, have been residents in Denham for many years and Brian's family lived at Greenlands Farm for well over 20years prior to this. The village hall has been a very important part to them over the years, as this was a place where their family would meet and get together with neighbours and friends. Brian and Pam very kindly have allowed the resident's of Denham access to the land directly behind the hall and Brian has continued to maintain this area up until recently due to ill health. It was hoped that the recent renovations would have been completed in time for them as a family to come together and celebrate with friends and neighbours at the opening event however unfortunately this was not possible.

With this in mind, as a thank you from the Denham community for the kindness they have shown, i would like to place a memorial bench in memory of Brian at the rear of the village hall overlooking their land and where he lived for many years.

It would be great if we could come together as a community and make this happen.
