Help Brian Sisson Fight Cancer

Donation protected
Brian Sisson is currently at Wake Forest Hospital. Over the course of the last month, doctors both in Roanoke and at Wake Forest have confirmed the horrible reality that Brian does have cancer. He has already gone through multiple surgeries and treatments and further options are currently being discussed to help him fight cancer. Unfortunately due to an insurance change, Wake Forest does not accept his coverage. He and Heather have been told that some of the necessary upcoming treatments are very expensive, and as of right now, will need to come out of pocket. For many that know Brian, you are aware that he was paralyzed at the age of 17 in a hunting accident. He overcame that massive hurdle in life and never lost his spark. He built a landscaping business, and up until he had to have surgery to repair a lingering hip wound from his accident, he was still mowing grass every summer and completing various landscapes for customers on top of working a full time job. Unfortunately the cancer is in the area of his hip and bone and thus far the news surrounding available treatment options has not been good. He has lived in the Shawsville community his entire life, and if you know Brian, you know what a ball of light he is. He has never complained, regardless of the circumstances life has thrown at him. He loves to make people laugh, and it is rare to find him cross with anyone. He gets around better than most and you would not even know that he is in a wheelchair. Now he is facing yet another giant hurdle with this recent diagnosis. Any donations received will go straight to Brian and Heather to help with cancer treatments, hospital bills, travel expenses and meals while away from home. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this page would be SO appreciated. And most importantly- prayers are desperately needed and appreciated. Please pray for healing, for strength, that his team is able to make the best decisions for him, for a blanket of peace to wrap up Heather & Brian and their families. Pray for a miracle for Brian.

Isaiah 40: 29-31 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
