Brian Siler's Emergency Med Fund

Donation protected
This fundraiser is for Brian Siler's emergency medical funds. Brian is 59 years old and suffered a heart attack on Tuesday, March 7 2016. He was complaining of chest pain and nausea, for two days and finally asked his daughter Kierstin to take him to the ER. After going through the ER, and cardiology at St. Elizabeth's hospital in Youngstown, they determined he had a heart attack, and life-flighted him to the Cleveland to have emergency heart surgery. After many tests and procedures, they have determined that Brian has a couple holes in his heart, has dead tissue in his right ventricle, and will need a single bypass. Brian may have had a stroke as well, and is currently in critical condition, in the surgical ICU at Cleveland University hospital, an offshoot of the Cleveland Clinic. Unfortunately, due to Brian's weak condition they cannot perform the surgery immediately; they must wait until his body is strong enough to survive the procedure. The fundraiser is set to raise money enough to cover ambulance rides, helicopter rides, numerous hospital rooms, procedures, tests, and other fees associated with the hospital, as well as food, gas, and hotel for Brian's family as they stay in town or travel back and forth between Youngstown and Cleveland.
