Brian Ruiz's Road to Recovery Fund
Donation protected

As you may know, our thirteen-year-old son was in a horrible bike accident. He was being courageous and attempted one of the steepest ramps at Markham Park during practice. Unfortunately, while descending down the ramp he lost control and landed face first. The mercy of the Lord was with him as he did not encounter any internal bleeding, nor concussions, spinal cord damage or any lower broken bones. He did however break both sides of his nose and tore some of his left nose cartilage and upper lip soft tissue. He broke his upper jaw and is wired up to salvage his upper teeth. He lost 6 of his lower teeth and will gradually need bone graft to later receive permanent implants. I know some of you have asked about ways that you could help Brian with his recovery and support him on his journey to fulfill God's story for his life. We know that he will need multiple surgeries to reconstruct his nose, upper lip and teeth. It should take approximately a year depending on his ability to heal and how his skin adapts to the different procedures to bring him back whole. The purpose of this fund will help us alleviate some of the expenses we are expecting for his long journey towards recovery. We have faith that God will strengthen him through this process, and this will be Brian's testimony for the glory of God. Thank you for your ongoing support and love for Brian and our family. We will be eternally grateful for everything we receive.
