With heavy hearts, we ask for your help. Brian Ray McFarland, our son, brother, friend, and loved one passed away last Sunday morning.
Brian was a man filled with love for all people and was a friend to everyone he met. He was an encourager and would give anything to a friend or family member in times of need. He was a firm believer in Jesus and his favorite church that he ever attended and worshipped at was the Lapeer Church of Christ in Lapeer Michigan. He loved deeply and was passionate about everyone/everything he loved. He loved his family, all kinds of music, the University of Kentucky (UK), dogs (especially his beloved pit bull Hercules), Batman, Dr. Pepper, and anything sweet. If you knew Brian, you will remember that he was always laughing and making others laugh. He loved to have fun and loved to help people.
Brian grew up in Campbellsville KY and spent most of his life there; sharing life with family and friends. He spent the last year of his life in Michigan and then Texas, living life with his two brothers, Brent and Bill. He passed away the morning of August 5th, 2018 in Lubbock Texas.
In memory and honor of Brian Ray McFarland, the family is asking for help to cover funeral expenses, especially to make sure his final place of rest is in the Murphy family cemetery in Kentucky near his Pa, Arthur Franklin Murphy per Brian's wishes. We will update information on this site about specific funeral times and locations once they are decided.
