Hello my name is Brian Perrigo, on Saturday 4/8/2023 I was at a local bay area dirtbike track riding my bike when I had a bad accident. I was transported by ambulance to John Muir in Walnut Creek where I had emergency surgery on my femur that had been broken during the crash. They put a titanium rod in my femur along with a few pins. I also broke my hip and 4 ribs. I also received a few other injuries as well but those were the main ones. It took me about a week to get the courage to start one of these because honestly I feel a bit embarrassed and I have been living on my own since my 20’s and never ask anyone for anything as I have always worked for whatever I wanted to obtain in life. I am in a bit of a bind because I have alot of upcoming medical bills, along with housing and living expenses (2 Kids) that I just dont have enough to float all of that while being out of work for an extended period of time. Iam on the road to recovery and bed ridden at the moment living in a nursing home/rehab facility. The doctors said I can walk in about 2 months but because of the hip injury they dont want me putting any weight on my left side that was injured. Iam on the road to recovery and any amount of help would truly be appreciated.
