Brian Ortiz Memorial Fund

My brother in law, Brian Ortiz passed away in a horrible motorcycle accident on Thursday, June 16th, 2022, leaving behind his wife and four children. He was a first responder firefighter with Phillips 66 in Rodeo, CA for about four years. He dedicated his time to his family, friends, and coworkers. He has made many friends throughout our community. He believed in helping others to the point that he was a very big advocate about being an organ donor. Each person he came across he made an impact.

He loved to fish with his kids, take them camping, or just hang in the garage and have a dance party with his favorite jams. He had a passion for doing projects and getting things done. Brian rode his bike for eight years. He loved to ride and only rode occasionally.  

This GoFundMe is to help my sister and the kids offset the cost of the inevitable expenses during this time. Brian was the family’s main financial supporter, and they need help during this time.

I would Like to take the opportunity to thank the people that surrounded him and that were with him during his last moment, called 911, held his hand, and especially for the Paramedics/EMT that tried everything in their power to keep him with us.
