Brian O'Keefe Memorial: Support Wasatch Backcountry Rescue

Tax deductible
Brian James O'Keefe, known to many as "Keith," lived life in motion. Whether snowboarding, dirt biking, hunting, fishing, or spending time at the family cabin in Minnesota, Brian was most at home in the outdoors. He was a Co-Owner of SteelBiltt, a beloved "Coach Keith" to kids he mentored in snowboarding and mini motocross, and the kind of person who could fill a room with energy and put a smile on anyone's face. On February 23, 2026, Brian was lost in an avalanche while snow biking in the mountains outside Salt Lake City, doing what he loved most.

This fund honors Brian's memory by supporting Wasatch Backcountry Rescue (WBR), the volunteer team that responded to search and recover Brian. WBR's members are backcountry professionals, many serving as ski patrol across Utah's resorts, who volunteer their time, expertise, and safety to respond to avalanche rescues and winter mountain emergencies. Every dollar of their work is unpaid, and every response puts them at personal risk. Your donation helps ensure this incredible team and their search and rescue dogs can continue saving lives in the mountains Brian called home.
