Brian Leischner Expense Fund

March 21, 2019 9 a.m.
Brian Leischner was the driver of the chip truck struck by the wrong-way driver on I-90 near Missoula Wednesday afternoon, March 20. He is currently in hospital in Missoula. Brian was a short four miles from home base at Western Transport when the accident occurred, a daily run that began at 2 a.m. His semi cab was scattered across four freeway lanes and traffic was shut down for hours both ways. Brian’s medical expenses are yet to be determined but may be exorbitant. We’ve set an initial goal of $40K for assistance to the family. For medical and personal expenses and lost wages. Brian’s wife, Sherri, is our co-worker. The road to recovery will be a long and challenging one. We hope to provide them even this small measure of comfort. Our goal is to rally the local community and state of Montana –along with the transportation community-- to lighten the load of this wonderful and loving family in this time of their greatest need.
All proceeds (minus GoFundMe processing fees) will go directly to Brian and Sherri.
Thank you for your generous support of the Leischner family during this most difficult time.
