This page is to ask for financial help for the beautiful McIntyre Family. Please consider donating any amount you are able to a very deserving family. God Bless and please read Brian’s story.
Brian McIntyre passed away on Monday, October 31st at the age of 48 after a long, hard fought battle with various types of cancer. Brian leaves behind the love of his life, Karen and his three beautiful daughters, Kendall, Lexie, and Laney.
Brian has been a staple in the Lexington, KY community churches and school system for many years. He has served in Scott County schools as an administrator, teacher and most of all role model, mentor and a positive influence for the young men and women who have had the opportunity to learn from him. A portion of his educational work was part of starting The Stables Program for Central Kentucky called “Riding for Hope”. Brian was instrumental in bringing this alternative learning program to the Kentucky Horse Park for kids who had a difficult time learning in traditional classroom settings. Brian, and The Stables Program, have changed the futures of many young people by being caring, understanding and practical leaders to those who didn’t have those resources before meeting him.
Brian McIntyre above all was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Countless people would describe Brian as a lifelong friend and would love to tell you stories about the times they’ve had together, things he has helped them with or through, and most of all how he loves his family,
Brian’s family that he left behind is why this page is being created. Brian has worked and provided for his family ever since he and Karen married and had their first daughter, followed by two more. Brian has been the rock for his daughters, always putting them first and supporting their dreams. The loss of Brian is emotionally devastating for Karen and his girls and will also take a large financial toll on the family. The support you are giving to help Karen and the girls to continue to chase their dreams is exactly what Brian would have done.
Brian was diagnosed with cancer soon after losing his father to the same disease. He fought as hard as he could for years with the help and prayers from family and friends. Now is the time for us to ask for help for him and his family.
