Please help the family of Sheri Kunishige

Hello, my name is Raquel Holguin, and I am Brian’s cousin. In October 2021, we took Sheri Kunishige, Brian’s wife, to the hospital for pain that she was experiencing. It was then that Sheri was diagnosed with Small Cell Carcinoma at the young age of 29. The cancer had already spread throughout her body, leaving us afraid of what would happen next. Since then, it has been a continuous battle of pain, suffering and wild emotions, but Sheri fought tooth and nail with such a positive attitude, a huge smile, and no complaints. Sheri had been in continuous treatment, fighting the disease with all she had. Three weeks prior to her passing, her scan showed some improvements, giving some hope.
Days before her passing, we took her to the emergency room for a headache and nausea. After a few exams and a CT scan of her head, the doctors advised us that the cancer had traveled to her brain and that she only had days left to live. On July 30th, 2022, our beautiful Sheri lost her battle with cancer. Her sudden passing left us all heartbroken. She was only 30 years old.
In Sheri’s short life, she touched many hearts with her warmth and loving soul. Brian and Sheri’s family are devasted. They are dealing with things that no husband or parent should have to go through. I created this fundraiser to help offset the mounting medical and funeral costs. Unfortunately, Brian is currently unemployed due to a work shortage, so I’m hoping I can help relieve some of that financial burden so that Brian and Sheri’s family can mourn peacefully. Please help to support us by donating any amount you can. If you cannot donate, we understand and ask that you remember the families in prayer.
