Brian Hosley's Stroke Journey

Donation protected
I know that these are difficult times for everyone right now, but if you are able to, please consider helping our dear friends and neighbors Kimmy and Brian.

Brian Hosley was taken to the ER on Thursday, April 7th because he was having a severe headache and vomiting. Once in the ER, they determined that he was having a stroke. They then flew him from their home in Montana to the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah (which is the closest stroke hospital). His wife Kimmy stayed behind to take care of their homestead and animals in Montana.

It was determined that Brian had an ischemic stroke (a blood clot), which then converted to a hemorrhagic stroke (bleeding and swelling in the brain). On Saturday, April 9th, they had to drill a hole into his head to place a catheter to drain off the cerebral spinal fluid and blood in order to try to decrease the swelling on his brain. If they are unable to control the swelling, they will have to take him for surgery to remove a portion of his skull to alleviate the swelling. Due to these events and the severity of Brian's situation, some wonderful friends/neighbors drove Kimmy down to Salt Lake City to be with Brian; and their amazing daughter, Marissa drove from North Dakota to take care of the animals and the home.

Brian is fighting for his life and Kimmy is fighting right beside him. Due to the medical expenses, the expenses of both of them missing work, and the expenses of their family trying to help, we would GREATLY appreciate any amount of money you can spare to help alleviate some of the stress they are under. This will be a very long road for Brian and Kimmy and we can only hope to help in any way possible.

Brian is a selfless, sweet, big-foot chasing, bear of a man who loves his family and takes incredible care of his wife and his kids and his fur babies. Brian is a volunteer fireman for our little community and he drops everything in order to help any one of us. We can only hope to return all of the care and generosity he has shown each of us!

Please pray for this sweet family. God is great and works amazing miracles and Brian and Kimmy need all of your prayers!
