Brian has always helped others - He needs us now

This fundraiser is solely for helping Brian Wieringa, a veteran firefighter with the Western Springs Fire Department.

Brian has devoted his life to helping others in any way possible, and now he needs your help as he fights for his life. Recently, Brian was diagnosed with Stage 3 squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue. He has just begun his first week of a 7-week chemo and radiation therapy regimen at Rush Hospital in Chicago. Doctors have advised him that the treatments will soon take their toll on Brian's energy and ability to work at the Fire Department and work at his heating and air conditioning business.

 

Anyone who knows Brian’s toughness, work ethic, heart and spirit does not doubt that he will beat cancer. Still, he needs and deserves our financial support to get him through the brutal treatments and recovery period that will result in lost income and mounting medical bills.
