Brian Hartmann Fund

Donation protected
Hello family and friends,

On October 7th, 2020 Brian Hartmann was diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD). CJD is a brain disorder that causes early on set dementia. It is extremely rare, and only 1,000 people get it each year. CJD is a fatal disease and there is no cure or treatment. Brian has currently been given months to live. He is staying at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester until future plans are made. Brian is losing some of his memory, and his cognitive skills are not to their extent.

We have started a Go Fund Me page which we will use for Brian's medical needs, including his future living arrangements (potentially hospice or assisted living). There are a lot of moving pieces that we are figuring out, including bills, payments, and housing needs, which is what the money raised will be used for.

Please consider donating to Brian, we would greatly appreciate it and we thank you in advance. Please also pray for Brian and his family as they navigate through this difficult time. You can stay updated through his Caring Bridge site listed here: https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/brianhartmann
