On Friday 1/13, I took a terrible call from my mom. Brian had a massive stroke that damaged over 60% of his brain. The blood thinners continue to make his brain swell and bleed but he must stay on them until the clot in his chest goes away. He is showing amazing physical improvements but cognitively we are very concerned. He cannot talk or communicate to his hands to write and is becoming very frustrated. He will remain in intensive care until he can safely discontinue receiving blood thinners. He will then need a lot of rehab and speech therapy. There is now telling how long or if ever before he will be able to function. Our family, Brian needs all the love and support he can get. Please share and keep the power of prayer going.
