Last weekend we lost one of the best friends a person could ask for. Our brother, Brian Gatling passed away in his sleep and it came as a shock to everyone. For those of you who knew Brian, he was a standup guy that was always there to help a friend. Car broke down? Brian is en route without even asking what the problem was. That is just the kind of person he was, always willing to help out and make you laugh in the process. The guy could light up a dance floor like you have never seen; coupled with that smile he was a force to be reckoned with.
For those of you who are reading this and did not know Brian, just go ahead and trust me on this one.
We are raising money to help the family pay for his services and all of the costs that go along with losing a loved one. Any money that is left will be used to purchase a bench and tree in his name at Lake Miramar or a similar area that we can all go to visit him. I will be withdrawing and dispersing the funds so if anyone has any questions on where your donations end up, please contact me.
Along with a sudden death come sudden costs and the funds needed to put our friend to rest are needed by this Monday. The family and all of his friends appreciate anything you can do to help out. If you are unable to donate monetarily, please leave some kind words for the family. Brian leaves behind his Mother, Mildred and his Brother, Josh.
Family was the most important aspect of Brian's life and cared deeply for his Mother. The two spent countless hours together and the bond was deeper than most. He shared the same love for his Father, Brother, and dog, Otis. This love was not specific to his immediate family because he thought of his friends as family as well. So as his family we all need to do what we can to help out in these trying times.
Thank you for any and all support that you are able to make, much love to you all.
