“Brian, an IL ISP Trooper, was responding to a car accident in Joliet, IL. While he was parked behind the wrecked vehicles, had the emergency lights activated in order to assist with directing traffic to the right lane. While in his squad car, another car crashed into the back of Brian’s squad car.

He was airlifted to a local hospital with serious injuries to his brain. There was an immense amount of swelling to the head, which was responded to immediately with surgery upon arrival at the hospital.”

I ran cross country with Brian in high school. His grit, work ethic, and humility inspired everyone around him, including myself.

I originally found out about Brian’s condition from our coach. Someone had asked if there was GoFundMe started for him. We couldn’t find one so I set this up for Brian and his family.

100% of the donations are going to Brian and Lauren.

Please let’s let them know that we all have his back, so they can focus on what’s important right now. Anything you can contribute to help Brian and his family during this time is greatly appreciated.
