On December 21 Irish jazz musician Brian Dunning turned 70 years old and was struck with a mysterious illness that would take his life less than six weeks later.

 

Friends from Brian's many years in Portland, Oregon, we are raising money for the Brian Dunning Memorial Fund on behalf of his wife, Irish artist painter, Fiona Marron Dunning and three sons, to ease the heavy weight of medical bills, memorial costs and immediate expenses on the family.
