Brian Douglas Wilson, the loving husband of 41 years to Laurie Wilson and father to 5 beautiful children, passed away on December 15th, 2023, after a long illness. He was 67. We, his family, are devastated by his loss.

Brian faced multiple health challenges beginning in 2009. His health for the remainder of his life often made it hard for Brian and Laurie to survive. Both were frequently out of work to take care of his health needs. For the last six years of his life, Laurie provided primary care for Brian, which often meant she could not work herself.

As Laurie transitions to this new reality, she faces loss of income in multiple different ways. In the last three months, Laurie was hired to be his caregiver. With his passing, this source of income is gone. Laurie and Brian also relied on his social security to survive - that income will be significantly reduced. Lastly, Laurie’s car broke down the week before his passing and desperately needs to be replaced (an accident last year has made it hard to repair).

We humbly ask for $5,000 to help support our mother during this incredibly difficult time. This amount would help with cremation expenses, financing a working vehicle, and money to pay bills and rent. Your help will provide so much comfort and support to our mother who has been unwavering in her love and care of our dad.
