It was with a heavy heart and grief that Tommy Donaldson had to announce the passing of his older brother, Brian, on Monday, November 23, 2020. Tommy has described Brian as a caring, giving soul who would always put others before himself. Since he was young, he valued his family and friendships and was always thinking of everyone to try and brighten their day. He enjoyed working at the Cody Arena, fishing, watching the Yankees and the Giants and hanging out with friends. Over the past 10 years and with the added loss of his parents, Brian fell into a long bout with alcoholism.
Over the past eight years, Tommy has lost his entire immediate family. Along with his father and brother, Tommy helped with funeral and cremation arrangements for his mother Nancy, who passed away on October 9th, 2012. With the assistance of his brother, Tommy helped with funeral and cremation arrangements for his Father Tim, who passed away on June 26th, 2016. Now with the support of his fiancé Ashley, Tommy has to arrange the funeral and cremation of his brother and the burial of his entire family.
Friends and family have reached out to Tommy asking how they can support him. With the death of his brother 3 days before Thanksgiving and with full payment of burial costs due on December 20th, 5 days before Christmas, Tommy is in need of financial support. With no insurance money, the burden rests solely on Tommy. Tommy expressed his wish is to lay the ashes of his mother, father and brother to rest along side his grandparents. Your support will help give Tommy the peace of mind that his family is in a comfortable everlasting place surrounded by family.
