So after almost ten years of health issues it's come to the point of having surgery and it's a major one, open heart surgery.

I will have to fly out to San Diego or Nashville because there are only certain places that can do it. I should know for sure in the up coming weeks. As my doctor puts it, "This is not a straight forward case." I had an out patient procedure last fall and I have been getting tests done for the past year. I will also have many tests done the week prior to the surgery.

Doctor said if all goes as it should I should be back in New Orleans with in a months time but would still need time to recover.

So there's no definite time line here.

 

Just need help to take care of the bills and expenses. I know this isn't great timing with the storm just hitting. There's a lot of people hurting out there. This surgery has to be done soon. Anything will help. I appreciate you all and hopefully I will get to see you before (and after) I go.
