Brian Coghill Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
So, some of you know me, and some of you don't. My name is Chris Ahrendt and I was honored to call Brian Coghill brother. He wasn't my biological brother, but he was still my brother. Brian and I are both autistic and our friendship was really the first time, where we both felt like we'd finally found someone that understood us completely. As you can imagine his passing has shattered me, as well as many others.

Brian was actually at my house the last few weeks of his life. He'd been struggling with anxiety/depression over losing the love of his life, Verity Coghill, by a senseless drunk driving accident. My wife and I were attempting to help him get back on his feet, but sadly he did not recover, and on Sun 8/29 around 3:15am he passed peacefully. Due to his being alone and autistic, the hospital thankfully allowed me to be with him in the ICU the whole time. I can't thank them enough for that.. But now onto this fundraiser..

We want to get Brian out of the morgue and over to the funeral home, so that we can honor his wishes,  to be cremated and placed with Verity.. I know many have reached out to me offering assistance, and donations so, this is my final gift to him.. This is OUR final gift to him. To send him off with grace, love and peace.. To know he was loved by a community that he touched so much.

Thank you all in advance..

(P.S. Any funds that go over the set amount will be used to help with any other burial/funeral/memorial costs, and then the rest if any will be donated to a charity in honor of Brian & Verity.)
