Brian & Cindy from losing almost everything
Donation protected
My name is Steve Levine and I am a personal friend. We share a long association with the Amrit Yoga Institue in Salt Springs Florida. I am setting up this fundraiser to help Brian Healy and Cindy Highsmith regain some sense of normality. They took a direct hit from Hurricane Ian. The destruction has been devasting. They have lost their cars, most of their personal belongings, the furnishing in their home, and suffered extensive damage to their home's integrity. Brians's office was also severely affected, as most of his office equipment, professional reference materials and supplies were lost. The task of rebuilding their life is overwhelming and will likely take months, if not a year.
Brian wrote the following to me a couple of days ago to include in this fundraiser:
"My fiancé and I and our 5+ pets barely survived the 14-foot storm surge. Our house and my business are still standing, but all the contents are destroyed as well as our three cars.
Our entire neighborhood is decimated. It could be a month or more before we get power restored because of the damage to infrastructure. It will be months before I can reopen my practice.
Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated so that we can get a new car furniture and feed ourselves and our cats and dogs for the next few months.
Blessings,
Brian, Cindy, Deva, Herbie, Daisy, Fidget & Squishy"
Please find it in your heart to help Brian and Cindy manage this crisis in their life. In times like these, friends, acquaintances and even strangers can make a big difference in helping to relieve the overwhelming financial burden associated with this devasting loss.
