Fighter
We are now in the process of preparing for the funeral of Brian "Truth" Shyheim Bynoe . Which will be held in Rochester NY. We would greatly appreciate your assistance with funeral expenses.
It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that just 5 weeks after receiving his high school diploma Brian Bynoe passed away on August 2, 2019.
From day one Brian "Truth" Shyheim Bynoe proved to be a fighter. It seems as if this quality was embedded in his blood. Just two weeks after his mother Katrina Bynoe learned that she was pregnant she was placed on bedrest. Three months later she was advised to abort her child and when she was six months pregnant she was informed that her pregnancy would either take her life or Brian Jr.'s. Despite these odds, on December 5, 1999 Brian was born in a healthy state to Katrina and Brian Bynoe Sr. Katrina battles with lupus and was fortunate to give birth to one child. Yet, this one child proved to be the most amazing blessing that she could have ever requested and their bond...everlasting.
Brian grew up in a home with two adopted brothers and several foster siblings throughout the years. He grew up surrounded by love and likewise reciprocated love to many.
Brian also played Football and Wrestled for Spencerport H.S. Unfortunately, however, on February 6th, 2015 Brian went to the Emergency room. His symptoms were dizziness, a headache and a slight fever. His diagnosis was a viral infection due to contact sports. But there was more, his heart rate caused a concern. He was sent to a local hospital that specialized in heart treatment. Brian went into Cardiac Arrest just twenty minutes after arriving at the Heart Hospital. In order for him to continue to live he needed to receive a heart transplant.
To be eligible for a Heart Transplant he had to be admitted to Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, New York. Katrina and Brian Jr. would need to move 350 Miles away from their home and without a second thought, Katrina committed. He received the precious gift of a heart on February 1, 2017 at Mount Sinai. The bond that Trina and Brian Jr. forged was incredibly strong. This bond, with the grace of their heavenly Father, allowed them to persevere through the pain, surgeries and countless occasions of being informed that Brian would not make it through the night. This was all while Katrina continued to battle with her own illness.
We would like to thank his many friends, family, teachers, principles, counselors, Make a Wish, Nazareth Elementary, Aquinas High School, Spencerport High School in Spencerport NY and Columbia High School in East Greenbush NY for all of the love and support that you have shown over the years.
Love shown from Spencerport Highschool:
