Brian's wife, Kim is facing the toughest battle any one can be called upon to deal with as she faces the sudden loss of her beloved husband, Brian Barber.

Kim & Brian are the custodians of their 2 young grandchildren, Liam & Johnathan. They have given absolutely everything they have to create a nurturing, loving & safe home for these boys to grow up in. Ever since I met them 6 years ago, the boys have been their number #1 priority. Brian was their best friend and the best Daddy to them. They loved him so. The bond he built with them was definitely one of a father/son. Brian was always up for a joke or a prank. He was softspoken, but when he talked you listened, because you definitely didn't want to miss the punchline. His smile & laughter were contagious.

Kim is currently fighting covid herself, thankfully the boys are remaining negative. She is a fighter and will remain a fighter. She is devoted to the boys in ensuring they have a healthy, stable home environment, positive role models and an excellent education.

Many people in our community have learned about his tragic & sudden passing and have asked how can they help. Knowing that Kim faces huge financial burdens in the days to come ahead and beyond, we have set up this go fund me to assist her in the most meaningful way that we know. The mortgage, utility bills, car notes and groceries are all things that still need to be taken care of, and without Brian's income (their primary source of income) things are going to be difficult for her and the boys. Together we can make a difference, any amount is greatly appreciated. Please as a community and a support system, can we come together and give a hand up to Kim and her boys?

To be completely transparent, we don't know the extent to the financial burden she is going to have to navigate through yet, but this is a start to help lighten the load she is carrying and give her some immediate cash flow and help with Brian's final expenses. Kim & the boys need to be able to stay in their home and in their school where they receive the best education and support for their needs.
