On October 1st Elizabeth and Brian welcomed baby Evelyn James into this world. She was born prematurely and spent six days in the NICU. Evie was home with Elizabeth and Brian for just over a week when Elizabeth became sick and was taken to the hospital in Columbus. Things deteriorated rapidly.  She had acute pancreatitis and sepsis and her organs began to shut down. She has been intubated and placed on dialysis and had to be med flighted to Atlanta where they can give her the specialized care she needs. Brian now has to deal with mounting hospital bills and the cost of staying in Atlanta for an extended amount of time so he can be near Elizabeth. He is not the type of person to ask for help so we are reaching out on his behalf. Any amount will help.
