Dear Friends and Family,
I am beyond excited to tell you that I have the opportunity to attend BSSM (Bethel School of Supernatural Ministries) this next fall. BSSM is a ministry school founded through Bethel Church in Redding, California. This school is designed to be a ministry training program that offers specific teaching and training on learning and living out biblical values. There are classes for all the students and then specific classes, called tracks, which are in-depth classes focused on specific topics like church leadership, counseling, preaching and many others. While attending this school I will be taking a track specific to preaching and teaching. This will be my first opportunity to take classes to grow in this area!
Over the past five years I have been living back in the Tri-city area teaching in a public school. While teaching, I have also spent time learning and preaching under my senior pastor, Pastor Jerry Shaffer. Pastor Jerry and his team have invested a lot of time and energy molding me into a leader and speaker in our church. I love leading and teaching in a classroom setting as well as in the local church. I believe that this school is the next step I need to take as I continue to walk in my calling of teaching
For the past two years I have been praying about this opportunity to go to BSSM and really pursue ministry. I’m excited that I not only received an acceptance letter but I keep watching doors open as I prepare to head back to school. I know it’s a big deal to leave my job, my family and everything I’ve really ever known. However, I believe that this is exactly what God has asked me to do in this next season. School starts on August 29, 2018 and will end on May 7, 2019. It will cost me approximately $10,000 for the tuition, travel expenses, a missions trip over my spring break and my accommodations throughout the school year.

God rewards equally the one who goes and the one who sends, and I could not do this without you! (Philippians 4:17) If 100 people can give a one time gift of $100.00, my goal will be met!
