Donate in Memory of Bintu Sheriff

Bintu Sheriff was an incredibly loving mother, sister, and wife. She had a truly special gift for bringing joy and happiness to the lives of everyone she met. She was known for her kind and gentle spirit, and everyone who knew her considered her to be one of the sweetest and most caring people they had ever encountered.

Unfortunately, in September, Bintu contracted COVID-19 and later developed pneumonia on a trip to her home country, Sierra Leone. It was her first visit back in over 10 years, and she had gone to open a well in a desert community in memory of her late sister. When she returned to the United States on November 30, she began feeling sick, and tragically, she passed away in her sleep on December 5.

Bintu leaves behind two daughters (including Dusu Sidibay ‘24 at Princeton), a husband, her siblings, and her community. Her family is now struggling to pay for her funeral arrangements and other bills, and any donations would be greatly appreciated.
