Help Morgan Beat Breast Cancer!

My lovely sister-in-law is the mother of 3 beautiful young children - Marlee (8 yrs old), Max (6 yrs old) and Maisy (4 yrs old) - and she is in a fight for her life against breast cancer.

Morgan unfortunately has a form of cancer that is very difficult to treat and requires treatment from experts at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Unfortunately, Morgan’s insurance does not cover this provider.

Thankfully, due to the funds raised from this Go Fund Me page, Morgan was able to start her treatment at Mayo! Of course, continuing treatment is very expensive; therefore, we are increasing the goal in case there are others out there who still want to give. So far, Morgan’s medical costs (tens of thousands, some of which had to be paid prior to start of treatment), cost of travel, cost of daycare for 3 children (to allow her husband Mike to work), and other expenses have greatly exceeded our original goal. For example, one component of her treatment plan is radiation, but the radiation treatment she will be starting requires an $86,000 up front payment - the equipment is state of the art and the physician performing this specializes in the exact type of breast cancer that Morgan is fighting, so we are very hopeful that she’ll have great results!

For those who have already donated, and provided supportive words and prayers, Morgan and Mike want to send you their love and thanks. Family and friends mean the world to them and they are so grateful for you. Also, they are delighted by the support that others in the community have given, some of whom they have never even met - it’s lifted their spirits and they appreciate all the support they have received!

Our beloved Morgan passed after an 18 month battle with breast cancer on the evening of 3-12-2024. I will be starting a new GoFundMe page for Michael and the kids to help cover remaining medical bills, funeral expenses and childcare expenses.
