I’ve been on dialysis for 6 years, and after having more and more dialysis related medical problems, I'm in desperate need of a kidney transplant. However, in order for me to get the transplant I have to have several tests done and get clearances from all my doctors saying I’m healthy enough to get the transplant. Due to the extended amount of time I’ve been on dialysis, I have been unable to work and I get by on a very limited budget. Which makes it hard to get required test done that isn’t covered by my insurance. I’ve been trying to save, but with my increasing medical costs it’s proving to be more of a challenge than I would like it to be.
