Hello, I am Valerie’s daughter, and I have been with her at bedside through surgery and monitoring. My mom broke her ankle in two places and has been in the hospital while they monitor her heart rate and oxygen levels since it has been a concern. Her recovery will take at least 3 months for her to walk again.

If you know my mom, then you know how much she works. As the head of the household, she is worried about how she will pay her bills for the next few months. She will need help with food, rides, and any resources that anyone can think of. We are asking for any kind of support if you are able and feel inclined to do so. It is very hard for my mom to ask for help because she has been independent since she was 14 years old. We appreciate all of the love and prayers and any other support you are able to give.
