Brews for Timmy

Hey Everyone! Here we are, well into year two of helping Tim (Toolman) Taylor and his fight with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. We are putting together this gofundme, and doing couple brew events to coincide. Last year we did the Goggins 4x4x48 Running Challenge, and what a great turn out for Tim and his family. We are hoping that these two events will surpass last years challenge run fundraiser.

For those that don’t know Tim, or missed last year's fundraiser, let me tell you a little about him. About 2 ½ years ago now, Tim was told the news no one ever wants to hear, that he in fact had stage 4 colon cancer, and was in need of immediate treatment. If you don’t know him, Tim is an awesome co-worker, friend, father and husband. A super fun guy to be around who also puts people’s needs before himself. Thinking of others, always. An example of his generosity, during his time of need, intense cancer treatment, and the month of his birthday, he put up a fundraising page to help raise money for veteran suicide prevention. During last winter, when we actually had snow, he mustered up the energy to go out and snow blow his driveway and the sidewalk on his entire side of the road. He comes to work when strength allows him, still trying to put smiles on other people's faces.

If you didn’t know his story. If you didn’t know every other week Tim is taking three days of treatment. You wouldn’t know. He tries his best to not let it get him down, but the struggle is hard and it takes its toll on him. Still fighting in stage 4, he is not alone.

For many of us who have experienced cancer, personally or with someone we know, you are aware of how devastating it can be on a person not only physically and mentally, but also financially. He is taking care of himself physically; has the love and support of his friends and family for his mental health. Financially he is being hit hard with all the expenses and needs that his medical insurance does not cover. Not being able to make it to work every day to cover normal household bills. This is where we can step in to help elevate some of that stress.

For those of you who don't know Tim, please don't let that stop you from helping someone who is deserving of your generosity. Every donation helps whether it's big or small, every bit will make a difference...you can make that difference in our friend and his family's life.
