Brett's "Cancer get fucked" Fundraiser

In April 2019, Brett was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus, stomach and lymph nodes. A pretty messed up battle confronts him but even in the height of shock, the big fella managed crack a joke to the Doctor that he should get a boat out of this. 

Well this fundraiser will hopefully make that dream a reality, or at least make day to day life a bit more comfortable.

The next phase contains a lot of unknowns. Chemo and radiation 5 days a week, travelling from Victor Harbor to Adelaide each day as well as surgeries.

Brett is one of those guys who would hate asking for help, yet has devoted his life to helping others. Along with his wife Stacey, they have spent the better part of the past decade fostering kids who needed a loving home, while raising their own beautiful little boy. Quite simply, I could not think of a family more deserving of some public support when life has kicked them squarely in the guts.
