Hi, I'm Melissa.  I've started this fund for Brett and Eric on behalf of a group of Brett's friends.  It is hard to believe, that looking back, that we have known Brett for almost 20 years, thanks simply to a common love for gymnastics.

On October 15th, Brett fell while getting ready to head home to New York from California.  He sustained a serious head injury, including a skull fracture and brain hemmorage.  He currently remains in ICU in California, where he is sedated while physicians deal with other complications, including pneumonia.

All of this means that of course, Brett will be out of commission for some time.  It also involves travel for Eric between New York and California and what are sure to be considerable medical expenses.

The goal for this fund may change; at this time recovery time is uncertain and distance from home is a factor.

We ask that if you are able and willing, please dig deep and give what you can to help these awesome people.  Brett has friends worldwide, and even with the smallest of gifts, it adds up fast.
