We are going to start by saying this is extremely hard for us (his mother and sisters) to do. Our brother Brett has unfortunately lost his battle with addiction. On Saturday, November 5th his life support will be terminated and he will finally be at peace. Brett's battle started a long time ago and fought as hard as he could. He hated his addiction and hated how it affected those who loved him. Although he has lost his battle, he is giving others the gift of life through organ donation. That's how much he loved helping people.
Brett was the greatest man we knew, he loved his family, friends, dog, and co-workers. He was the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back and bend over backwards to make you smile. He loved New England sports, the city of Boston, fishing, country music, and busting a "sweet move" on the dance floor. He loved helping and healing people which inspired his career in nursing. If you knew Brett we are sure you have a funny story about him and a story of how he has touched your heart.
We made this page to ask for help with his funeral costs. If you can find it in your heart to donate we would all really appreciate it, if not we appreciate all the love, prayers, and support, and please feel free to share this page. If there are any questions feel free to contact any of us. Thank you, and God bless.
