I'm really excited to be able to support the Relief Nursery through this race. The Relief Nursery is something I've been aware of as a really important force for good in the community as long as I can remember. My mom was the co-director of Early Childhood CARES and worked with Relief Nursery since its inception. My dad was the first Replication Coordinator for the Relief Nursery, working with groups and organizations to replicate the program model throughout Oregon from the late '80s through the 2010's. Getting to support such a great organization, even if only in a small way, is really a great honor.
